I've only made it about halfway across the city to PC Gamer's News Trash office, and the sun is already setting again. I stop to rest in a park I thoughtfully built next to another park, but it provides no relief from the constantly blaring sirens of emergency vehicles stuck in traffic. It's much easier walking through the city than driving, thanks to the lack of collisions. Shortly afterwards, too, the houses are empty. Finally, I give up on the car and decide to proceed on foot.įor this I use the First-person Auto-walking mod. Only now, for some reason, a lot of people are dying All over the city, the emojis that look sick appear above the houses and shortly afterwards a skull symbol appears there. Cities Skylines: Green Cities is available now for Windows, Mac and Linux, via Steam for £9.99. Now I feel bad about all the times I tormented my citizens. I’d never even heard of things like solar updraft towers before building my utopia.

Its either from pollution from your industries as has been previously stated or it could be noise pollution. Water towers should definitely be kept away from such areas, otherwise the pollution will contaminate the water supply and cause a city-wide health crisis. If you click the building that is showing the sick icon and hover your mouse/click on the warning icon, it should tell you what is making them sick. My commute to work lasts long into the night, as I become lost repeatedly (it's hard to tell where I am with no godlike map view) and get rammed so many times I'm starting to grind my teeth. The higher the pollution accumulation is, the faster your citizens will get sick. I should serve a life sentence in a prison truck, then. There is more than dozen of them and they range from unimportant to critical. Well, I should build a prison (knowing me, probably smack dab in the middle of a residential neighborhood), then go to it, if the prison truck could actually reach it, which it couldn't. Sometimes above buildings information icons show with a symbol of notification/trouble. This isn't a city, it's a post-apocalypse of my own making.
